Nice 1972 OR120 from Orange in for a recap and service.. This is a lovely amp but does use a pcb.. so is a pain to recap.
- Main PCB.. not variable bias on this one…
- One cap broken off…
- set to blow..
- Others leaking…
- Few photos to be able to remember wiring positions. I then disconnected the wires and was able to lift the board to unsolder from the rear
- Back of the PCB fairly simple and neat design
- All caps replaced
- Noting down wiring before chaning caps
- Mmm how to get a screwdriver on these?
- Assembled more sensibly with new caps
- No pilot light.. NOS one added and she was up and ready to run again!
