Ultralinear output Tx
Simple converted to Linear and now sounding better already! Ulta Linear Pro Reverb in for some calming down.. Customer wanted her to sound more like a 40 Watt Pro Reverb. Firs job was to remove the ultra linear taps
Very interesting to use that sag resistor. What was the original B+ (around 500V or more?) and how much voltage drop did you achieve by using the 470R in the end??

Do you know I really do not remember how much sag it gave… probably around 40V at normal bias dropping more when the amp is cranked.. it did give her noticeable sag/compression when the amp was turned up.
