Speakers in great nickNew castors installed (this took me way longer than anticipated as each nut and bolt was rigid and new holes needed drilling for the larger plated replacementsAll cleaned and back together!Classic Trace Elliot control panel (a bit faded)XLR input and a contour switchNew Filter caps… same spec as original but much smaller.. used exhaust clips to hold them down.. neat solution. Chassis has alos taken a knock at some timeReplaced fan as the old one had noisey bearingsHandles added to the top of the case to help make this beast a bit easier to handle..preamp out for a check over and new speaker grill added.. lighter and neater IMHO2 pcb contruction All together and working well! Trace Elliot GP11 combo came in dead… Simple problem with the wire from the speaker fuses broken off. I gave it a full service and replaced the broken castors and cleaned her up. Then played it with my own band for a practice. Sounds great, also later changed the supply caps and fan (as it was noisey.. duff bearings) My favourite bass amp at the moment.
