Vintage Corvette (cannot read the serial number but these were made from 1964 through 1970 just feel this is an early one. Problem with the jack socket cup coming loose and the customer wants this to be used on tour so needs a strong solution but not an invasive one for a vintage instrument (if this was not valuable I would have drilled two holes in the cup and screwed it to the body…). Instead I built up the sides of the hole to make the cup a tight fit as intended. Also tone control was doing nothings so the electrics got a once over. Also filled screw holes in the body (most did not grip the scratchplate screws at all!). Rewired assembles and plays like a dream! Tone now working (all at the bottom end but can give a great Wah sound when rotated while playing! Did not want to give this one back!
