There is one problem!Caps replaced!New caps in place twice the value and can withstand more voltage in the same size package as the dead onesNice reverb tank!Power amp has one power resistor burned out (can you see it) with the burned helix on itrear of boardreplaced power resistor and the board worked… for a while.. when doing a full power test.. poof one old output transistor went…photo of connections so I can quickly rewire with new transistorsConnections to the output transistor (prior to disconnecting to test)replaced these with some more rohbust modern npn power transistors and she was singing again,,Last issue no reverb and power supply for preamp +16.5 -13.3 Volts… Turns out one op amp dead pulling the supply and not driving the reverb spring.. replaced and all goodreverb board with recycled 741 op ampAll tested out on the bench and sounding great!Original wrapping material.. from Scotland..
Stewart, hi
I have an H&H VS Bassamp that has died on me. I still have power, but nothing comes out. The last time I used it it had a horrendous buzz and very little guitar sound coming out.
I can remove the silver chassis containing the electronics and post to you.
Any thoughts?

It is probably something either on the power amp board or the output transistors. If it is not blowing fuses the main caps are probably OK. Yes please send to me and I will fix it for you. Just chassis is fine.
