  1. Hi,

I have a Takamine EG460SC Acoustic guitar that has been damaged due to a friend of mine accidentally dropping it on a wooden floor. The soundboard has a crack in it and has partially come away from the body. Do you think you may be able to help?

    Thank you,

    Patrick Henchman

  2. Hi, I have a selmer (I think Zodiac 50) similar to the one you have restored.
It has celestion speakers (with green labels)
It needs recovering, new cloth, knobs switches, Selmer logo, and it has a buzz…
Is it worth repairing ?, and if so how would I go about it.

I look forward to your reply

    Pete

    • I can restore it for you. If you could email me pictures that would help. The electrics would need a good service and the case retolexing. The speakers sound like G12M speakers which are great if the cones are fine. Well worth restoring and I can arrange shipment to me with a courier if you can pack it well (I can explain how to)

    • I think that those are potted in epoxy.. so cannot really be rewound.. once the coil has gone open circuit you are in trouble..
